each time you buy or sell a home through the nationwide SMARTMOVE® network.
Here's how it works:
We will get you pre-qualified for a CalPERS loan then put you in
contact one of the SMARTMOVE® real estate counselors. They will guide throughout your
entire real estate transaction while we handle your CalPERS home loan.
You will receive:
- An assessment of your home financing needs, and housing needs
- Assignment to a highly qualified real estate professional who knows
the community and neighborhood you wish to buy or sell in
- A cash rebate or closing cost credit
upon close of escrow based on chart below.
- Connection to other real estate related services (i.e. escrow &
title, van line moving services, security systems)
You can utilize the program anywhere in the United States* as many times as you like.

*Rebates available in states where allowed by law. Rebate is
based upon a minimum real estate commission of 3% being paid to the selected SMARTMOVE
broker on your side of the transaction. If less than 3%, your rebate will be pro-rated and
will be less than amount shown above.
You are not eligible if you are currently registered in
another cash-back real estate program, your employer is reimbursing you for real estate
services or paying for real estate services on your behalf, or if you are committed to a
real estate firm by a listing agreement, buyer broker agreement, or ratified sales
contract.
